Mercedes CLK — Pioneer CarPlay dropped into the wood-trim dash
We brought an older Mercedes CLK into 2026 with a Pioneer CarPlay and Android Auto radio — wireless phone, navigation and music, set neatly into the original wood-trim dash.
The fun of an older Mercedes is the interior, so the goal was modern tech without disturbing the character. The Pioneer unit fits the dash opening cleanly and gives the owner wireless CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation — a daily-driver upgrade that still feels like the car it's always been.

This CLK came in with its dated factory stereo. We dropped in a Pioneer AVH-2550NEX — a 6.8-inch Apple CarPlay and Android Auto touchscreen that fits the double-DIN dash cleanly, so an older Mercedes gets modern phone integration without disturbing the wood-trim interior it's known for.
