Kenwood eXcelon DMX1058XR — a 10.1″ floating screen, custom-fit into a 2018 Silverado
This 2018 Silverado owner wanted a big modern screen without the dash looking aftermarket. We built in a Kenwood eXcelon DMX1058XR — a 10.1-inch HD floating touchscreen — set into a color-matched bezel we fit in-house, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The DMX1058XR is Kenwood's flagship — a bright 10.1-inch HD screen that floats proud of the dash. We built it into a custom, color-matched bezel with the climate controls set in below, so it sits level and looks like it belongs there; the bench shots show the bracketry nobody sees, done right. Behind the dash it runs on a plug-and-play harness with an iDatalink Maestro module, so the factory steering-wheel buttons and chimes keep working — and the truck's own tire-pressure and dual-zone climate readouts stay live, right on the new screen, with the backup camera coming up clear when you shift to reverse. Bought and installed here as an authorized eXcelon dealer, it carries Kenwood's full 2-year warranty. This same unit fits the 2014–2018 Silverado and GMC Sierra family.

DMX1058XR
This 2018 Silverado got Kenwood's flagship — the eXcelon Reference DMX1058XR — built into a custom, color-matched dash bezel so it sits like the truck came that way. It's a big 10.1-inch HD screen with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and because it's wired in with an iDatalink Maestro module, the truck's own information — tire pressure, dual-zone climate, steering-wheel controls — stays right on the new display. Here's what it brings to the daily drive.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone links up the moment you're in the seat — Maps, calls, texts and music on the big screen, with the cable left in the glovebox.
Wireless Android Auto
The same instant wireless link for Android — Google Maps, Assistant and your music, ready before you've pulled out.
The truck's own info, still on the screen
Wired in with an iDatalink Maestro, so tire pressure, dual-zone climate and your steering-wheel buttons all read right on the new display — nothing lost in the swap.
Built-in HD Radio
Free, built-in HD Radio — clearer FM and AM plus extra digital stations, with no subscription to buy.
10.1″ HD floating display
A bright 1280×720 HD touchscreen that adjusts four ways — set into a custom bezel so it sits level and proud, not tacked on.
A dash that looks like it belongs
The screen and climate controls are built into a color-matched bezel we fabricate in-house — the bench shots show the bracketry nobody sees, done right.
eXcelon Reference sound
Kenwood's flagship audio section — a 13-band graphic plus 14-band parametric EQ and time alignment — so the system is tuned to the truck and your ears, not left flat.
Hi-Res Audio over Bluetooth
Streams high-resolution audio wirelessly via LDAC — noticeably closer to the studio master than ordinary Bluetooth.
Up to four cameras
Rear, front and blind-spot camera inputs with adjustable parking lines — and it's dash-cam ready when you want a record of the road.
Full 2-year Kenwood warranty
Bought and installed here as an authorized eXcelon dealer, it carries Kenwood's full 2-year warranty — the coverage you don't get buying the unit loose from an unauthorized seller online.
